Ante esto, <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.iturri.com\/56-gafas\">\u00bfqu\u00e9 protecci\u00f3n ocular utilizar?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u00bfQu\u00e9 norma debemos buscar en nuestra protecci\u00f3n ocular?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Principalmente\nson tres: EN170, EN172 y EN ISO 12312-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;EN 170:2002 \u2013 Protecci\u00f3n individual de los ojos. Filtros ultravioleta. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;EN 172:1994 \u2013 Protecci\u00f3n individual del ojo. Filtros de protecci\u00f3n solar para uso laboral. Esta norma tiene dos enmiendas: EN 172:1994\/A1:2000 y EN 172:1994\/A2:2001<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;EN\nISO 12312-1:2013 \u2013 Protecci\u00f3n de los ojos y la cara. Gafas de sol y equipos\nasociados. Parte 1: Gafas de sol para uso general, es decir, la que suelen\ncumplir las gafas de sol que usamos en nuestro d\u00eda a d\u00eda. La norma tiene una\nenmienda: EN ISO 12312-1:2013\/A1:2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u00bfCu\u00e1ndo utilizar cada uno de ellos?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como\ncuando tenemos que elegir cualquier tipo de EPI, la elecci\u00f3n vendr\u00e1 determinada\npor la evaluaci\u00f3n del tipo de riesgo y de exposici\u00f3n sobre el que queremos\nprotegernos. Este aspecto es clave para que elecci\u00f3n sea la correcta y siempre\nsin perder de vista que solo debemos valorar el uso de EPI certificados, ya que\nson los \u00fanicos que garantizar\u00e1n nuestra protecci\u00f3n. Los ojos son muy sensibles\ne irremplazables y los da\u00f1os producidos son, en la mayor\u00eda de los casos,\nirreversibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El EPI debe adaptarse y proteger contra los riesgos evaluados, as\u00ed como a la persona y las tareas que tiene que desarrollar en su trabajo. Por ello, es fundamental elegir bien el tipo de protecci\u00f3n ocular a utilizar en cada caso, por lo que os recomendamos ver en <a href=\"https:\/\/shop.iturri.com\/46-ocular-y-facial\">nuestro blog<\/a> el anterior post sobre protecci\u00f3n ocular. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En lo que respecta\na la protecci\u00f3n frente a la radiaci\u00f3n UV, la elecci\u00f3n de un tipo de protector u\notro, vendr\u00e1 determinada el tipo de radiaci\u00f3n al que se exponga el usuario del\nEPI, tanto en el origen de este tipo de radiaci\u00f3n, como en la confluencia de\notros tipos de radiaciones no ionizantes en la exposici\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para ayudarnos en\nla elecci\u00f3n m\u00e1s apropiada, podemos establecer un criterio de funcionalidad que\nvendr\u00e1 determinado por el origen de esa radiaci\u00f3n UV, es decir, si es de origen\nartificial (l\u00e1mparas, solariums, etc) o si se trata de origen natural (solar).\nEn el primer caso el tipo de protecci\u00f3n ocular que debemos utilizar es aquel\nque incorpore filtros seg\u00fan la EN170. Los otros dos no ser\u00edan una opci\u00f3n en este\ncaso. Mientras que el origen es natural (solar), la elecci\u00f3n tendr\u00eda que ser un\nfiltro conforme con lo establecido en la EN 172 o EN ISO 12312-1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La elecci\u00f3n entre uno u otro depender\u00e1 en gran medida de las necesidades de protecci\u00f3n que tengamos en el entorno de trabajo, ya que los requisitos frente a la radiaci\u00f3n UV de una y otra son muy similares.
